Vision
Our vision is to provide every elementary student with an opportunity to create and appreciate art. Just like math and science, Art Literacy is a discipline in which skills are built upon each year and contributes to both knowledge and critical thinking abilities that are essential to preparation for post-high school endeavors.
Mission
Our mission is to have a district-led and parent volunteer program that exposes students to a wide array of artists, cultures, and art mediums. Funding for our program is currently and generously provided by our school PSO/PTOs as well as other donors.
Volunteers
Art Literacy is our school’s only structured art program – AND WE NEED YOUR HELP!
ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST COMPLETE THE VOLUNTEER APPLICATION Click here for the application
Events and Workshops
Throughout the year the District office offers up classes for our parent teachers that show new art techniques and have fun workshops. If you need to learn or just want a night out, you should take advantage of this free time of learning and creativity!
NOTE: District workshops are FREE and open to all volunteers: coordinators and presenters.
All Workshops are held at the TTSD District Office – 6960 SW Sandburg St., Tigard, Conference Room C (downstairs)
